This my Final Trailer, Overall i am happyu with the final result given certian evens that have happend to make me loose alot of footage.

Evaluation Question 2

For my work I have had to design and create A movie Trailer, A Magazine Cover and a Movie Poster.

Through out all of my media work i have kept a consistent house style, This style is immediately recognisable between the three pieces of work.

The Standard colour from them all was a green glow/highlight

#00FF00 is the Hex Code

And the Font Used for the title was a modified version of a font called "SLANT"

As well as those to elements i also added some other effect to the font. Another Defining element of the work is the main Character that features in all of the pieces.

I feel that both the Magazine cover and Poster show off certain things about the film very well, such as the Good Guy and The Bad Guy being the same actor. This would intrigue the the audience about the film and since the same character is used for all the elements they would be able to recognise it.

My plan for advertising for my film was to follow the two step flow. Basically i targeted a specific audience (males ages 15 - 25) this is because this demographic specifically have on average more peer groups then females and people aged older than that. This is an advantage to me because if one of the members of a peer group watch/hear about the film then they would pass on their opinion to the other members of the group and so on and so fourth, This could in theory boost my audience numbers upto 10X the initial planned numbers.

These past few weeks i have planned out some camera shots/angles and i have started to plan out my final ideas for posters and magazine covers.

My plan for the Magazine cover is to show the antagonist and protagonist of the story together, each taking up their own side of the page

For the backing track i have selected a piece of music which is under the ownership of ID Software so i contacted their customer support and after a few days i got a response which basically said it is fine to use as long as it is not for a profitable use.

Deconstruction - Magazine Cover

This Magazine cover is from the October edition of empire magazine, I chose james bond since it was a action  based genre and i believe the basic conventions of the typical action film consist of the main protagonist and antagonist, This is the same plan i have for my film trailer. I find the idea of a stereotypical Hero and Villain situation much more appealing to write for.

The main points of this cover are

- The main character has the centre of the page to catch our attention, the fact the main character is beat up show it is very action based, also the main character takes the most priority in the picture since he overlaps the title of magazine

-the title of the the film is in a large font and is in a different style to the rest of the cover. the subtitles are dotted around to tell the readers what else is in the magazine

I have noticed that all magazine covers have the barcode in the top or bottom of the front cover.

i have taken all of these point into consideration when designing my cover
